Unable to install discord app.

I have attempted to install discord 6-8 times now, everytime it installs I get the message saying I haven't used my id to access Itunes and tells me to type in my apple id password then press review. All that happens is that it just gives me the same message about Itunes and discord never shows up. Whats the deal?

Yes it is a new apple id, I have already reviewed terms of service though I don't recall having to input my billing info and as far as I can tell it was never an option or I have put in then info and forgot. Either way I have access to the app store. But after 10 attempted downloads the app is not on my phone. And when I get the message about itunes and I input my password still nothing happens, I can't access itunes and I don't have the app am trying to install.

Hi littlemacD,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities and thanks for posting your issue here! We'd be glad to help check this out with you. We understand you're experiencing an issue downloading an app from the App Store due to being prompted to review your account. Is this a new Apple ID account and also the first time you're using it to download an app? If so, the App Store will require you to review their terms and conditions, and to input your billing information before you're able to download anything.

However, if the prompt isn't moving forward for you, there's a few things we can try to resolve it. We'd recommend following the steps listed in If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open. Don't worry about the fourth step since the App Store is a native app that can't be removed.

Let us know how this works out for you. Cheers!

Hi littlemacD,

Thanks for the additional information regarding your issue! Let's see what else we can try to get your apps downloaded. If you've already attempted all the steps in the previous article we provided, we'd recommend signing out and then signing in to the App Store next. You can do this by heading into your Settings app > [your name] > Media & Purchases > Sign Out. Once you're signed out, you may repeat the same steps to sign in again.

If the issue persists, do you have another Apple device to test out the issue further? If you do have another device, you'll want to see if you're able to download an app on it with the same Apple ID account.

Be well!
