Kindle Paperwhite will not connect to my iPhone Hotspot

My Kindle Paperwhite would not connect to my iPhone 12 Mini Hotspot.

I read an old Apple Community thread, but there was no solution.

I found the following tip on an Amazon Support site.

On the iPhone, go to Settings/Personal Hotspot
Set Maximum Compatibility to On
Now try connecting your Kindle

This worked for my iPhone 12 Mini running IOS 14.6

I hope this tip helps someone.
