people whom i speak having hard time hearing me

I purchased this phone last month and every single phone call my contacts are complaining that they are having hard time hearing me! I went to the apple store in Smithtown mall New York Long Island , they made me wait more than 2 hours , and then told me that they cant do nothing because they are about to close, the technician was so rude, he told me that I am good to go, like leave the store right now we are closing. He told me that they can only fix the phone but can not replace the phone because it was purchased from Verizon!!

I am wondering why cant you change 1 month old phone? Does APPLE sell refurbished phones to Verizon or other carriers , is that the reason? I have always used APPLE phone but never had an issue at the first month! And technician is telling me that they are going to open the phone and fix it, they kept me there for more than 2 hours, they are telling me that i have to leave my phone over the night, and they will open the phone and fix it, its brand new phone, what fix are they talking about!

How APPLE technician can talk so rude to their customer who has been waiting for more than 2 hours!

I am seriously thinking about getting rid of all my APPLE product and never ever again! I have never had such a treatment from APPLE before! Very disappointed and upset!

iPhones have two sets of microphones, on the short sides at each end of the phone. Normally you hold the phone so one is directed at you and the other away from you to pick up ambient (background) noise to be filtered from your voice-plus-ambient received by the first microphone. If you hold your phone, or place it in a location, or use a cover with a flap that causes your voice to be detected by the ambient noise microphone, your voice may be included in the filtering and sound faint.
