How to disable automatic sound control on macOS (MacMini) when listening sound on the external audo device from iTunes?

I found this feature only for OSX but I can't found information about automatic sound control on macOS.

When I listening music on the iTunes and next track louder than previous it setting volume level lower that I want. This is very annoying.

Option "Sound correction" on the iTunes preferences was disabled.

I can't find similar settings on the system settings.

Can I disable it? External audio device have own volume control which up to maximum level for this reason.

Mac mini, macOS 11.4

Hello soulkoden,

Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you're looking for the setting in macOS that keeps the sound of your music at the same level. If that's right, the feature is called "Sound Check" and can be found in the Music app. Those steps are shown under Step 2, here: Adjust the volume in Music on Mac

We hope this helps.

Take care.

soulkoden,

Thanks for further clarifying. There could be several reasons why the sound levels are different for each song. Is this only happening with songs you're streaming, that you have downloaded, or both? If so, you may consider checking the Playback preferences to see if that helps: Change Playback preferences in Music on Mac

If you notice this happens with the same songs across devices, consider raising the volume level of those songs. Those steps are found under Step 2 for "Adjust the volume of a particular song or music video" here: Adjust the volume in Music on Mac

Best regards.

Hello,

No. I want turn off any sound correction on macOS.

For example, I listen track #1 with volume X dB. Next track #2 starts and few seconds playing with volume more than track #1 then track #2 volume automatically decreases as if "Sound Check" is on. But I attached screenshot in the my question when you can see that this option was turn off.

Reinstall macOS does not help and this feature on the two devices: Mac mini M1 and MacBook pro 2019. It started only on Big Sur.

In support i found same feature on OS X with name "Headphone Safety" - very similar. But I have similar problem on macOS.
