Add alarm function to calendar

It is so bad that I can’t enable the phone alarm when I plan an appointment. Only a notification alert is often missed. Please add next to the two notifications a third option to set the alarm.

Please add calendar trigger to alarm option One of the most frustrating things about ios for business users is that calendar alerts are silenced when on vibrate with no other option. As a frequent after hours worker I rely on my phone to keep my challenging sleep schedule on track. As it is now the only option I have is to unmute my phone on nights were I have to be sure I don't fall asleep, but then if I need to sleep some ahead of an early morning event the phones other alerts keep me from getting solid rest. this is a real pain point. My suggestion is to add an option to name a clock app alarm, then have the in calendar alert options be able to select that alarm by name. that way I can create a named alarm for the time I need, but in the disabled state, but have the calendar alert trigger it into enabled state. That way the phone could be left in silent mode, but still activate a desired audible alarm as needed. Please please please consider this feature add. Late shift workers everywhere will thank you.

iPhone alarm clock, with date? One of the peculiariities of the iPhone clock is that you can only set an alarm by TIME and not by DATE. That is, if I want an alarm to go off in two days at a particular time, the iPhone Clock won't do it for me. So how do I make that happen? I understand that I can schedule events in my calendar, and that I can set it up to issue notifications, but on one event I want an audio alert tone - BEEP!, and the rest I'm happy with maybe just a banner notification. How do I select, for any given event, what kind of notification I want for just that event?

Apple Alarm App So...for something which should be so simple: there is no way to set a SINGLE DAY alarm using the alarm app on the iPhone? NO WAY to just set an alarm for ' 2pm Thursday' ? NOT 'repeat every Thursday' but just a single alarm? Really sad to have to use Google to try and use the 'just works' Alarm Application to set an alarm for a single instance. YES , I know about reminders....but no way to have the app replicate what a simple , normal mechanical alarm has been able to do for decades???? Please someone correct me!
