White spots appearing on display

Hi, so I recently purchased a MacBook Pro M1 a couple months ago and have been using it everyday. I don't use the laptop with harsh treatment as it just sits on my desk while I do my work. Over the last few weeks I have seen white spots appearing in the lower half of the screen (a new one appears every week or so)... I am beginning to get concerned... What should I do?

I think you need to run Apple Diagnostics. Because there’re some white spots.

  1. Turn on your Mac and continue to press and hold the power button as your Mac starts up.
  2. Release when you see the startup options window, which includes a gear icon labeled Options.
  3. Press Command (⌘)-D on your keyboard.

Apple Diagnostics shows a progress bar while it's checking your Mac:

When testing is complete, Apple Diagnostics shows the results, including one or more reference codes. Learn about Apple Diagnostics reference codes.

So the white spots appear on ANYTHING thing at any moment. They are to do with the hardware. To clean the screen I use a damp microfibre cloth and I lightly clean the display and then I use a dry microfibre cloth afterwards. I don't treat this mac with any hard treatment. The only thing I can find is that it is caused from manufacturing error or pressure on the layers of the display. I have no dents and nothing has been hit so it can't be pressure.
