Can I delete an old Apple ID and merge it with my actual one?

I have an old apple account that I do not use - email@aol.com. can I delete it and merge it with my actual account email1@gmail.com?

Unfortunately there is no current way to merge Apple ID’s, sorry I couldn’t be of more help.
