" iCloud Drive taking up too much space on my phone: I went through my ICloud Drive and everything I have on my Mac is downloaded onto my phone through ICloud Drive and I can’t delete it off of my phone without deleting my data permanently."

What to Try:
A. Sync Though iCloud:
Access this data on another device, partially a computer, as it would be more user-friendly doing so. Enable all items in iCloud on your iPhone and your computer. If they were enabled on your old iPhone, then they should popup on another device. Once accessed, download it all.
What to Do:
Enable Photos in iCloud settings your iPhone and on your computer.
- Go Here: Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support
- Scroll to: Turn on iCloud Photos
- Proceed from there as necessary.
and...
B. Rid of "Other":
"Other" seems to be taking up lots of space too. "Other" is items made my applications (i.e. caches so that the operate faster). So, rid of it. Here is how to do so. How to Clear "Other" in your iPhone's Storage - Use Backup - User Tip
