Who is having problems shutting down their Mac when an iOS device connects over wifi?

Can’t shut down my Mac. iOS device connected never finishes syncing. Unbelievable! Have to hold down the power key to shut down. This has been going on too long. Very disappointing…

Form the Finder sidebar you can eject the iOS device before you "shut down" if it is connected—if you do not see the iOS device change your Finder preferences:


(Alternatively just close the lid and let the Mac sleep)
