audio on social media

i have an iphoneXS, i’ve had it for a while but never this problem before.

the audio on my social media camera (e.g. snapchat, instagram) has a static sound and you can’t hear what i’m saying. But on calls and the video camera that’s on the phone itself, you can hear me. how do i fix this?
