Call forwarding option is missing from Phone setting

I have an Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max and need to forward the calls from it to another phone number. Every thing I Google says that you should be able to go to settings, phone, calls and set up call forwarding however that is not an option on this iPhone 11 nor is it an option on my brand new iPhone SE that I’ve got for work that I’m trying to forward these calls to. I just spent a 2nd hour with customer service from my cell provider and they do not have a fix so maybe it is an Apple issue. Does anyone know how to get the call forwarding option back onto their iPhone settings menu?

Hey there, rockin67!

Thanks so much for using Apple Support Communities.

The first thing we'd recommend when troubleshooting this issue with Call Forwarding is making sure that your iPhone is up to date. iOS updates include new features and changes but they often include bug fixes as well, so it's worth updating to be sure. Here's how to update: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch It's also a good idea to update your carrier settings, which is different from your iOS updates: Manually update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad

If you're not having any luck, we'd recommend reaching out to Apple Support directly right here: Contact Apple Support
