My Apple Pencil 2nd generation won’t pair up with my iPad even though I restarted my iPad and disconnected my Apple Pencil. Also I tried turning off my Bluetooth many times.

How do you fix this?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out using Apple Support Communities.

We understand you're having trouble pairing your Apple Pencil (2nd Gen). We're happy to help with this.

We see you came from the related article, 'Connect Apple Pencil with your iPad.' This does contain helpful information, but we will provide a bit more information below.

Is it possible that your Apple Pencil requires charging? Make sure bluetooth is enabled and leave the Pencil docked to your iPad for a period of time. Once the device has sufficient charge it will automatically pair to the iPad, and you will be able to see the battery status by swiping left to the Today view on your iPad.

Charge your Apple Pencil and check the battery

If you have continued trouble with pairing after letting it charge up for an extended period of time, we would suggest contacting Apple Support. The following link will provide your service and support options.

Hope this helps! Take care for now.
