The update that changed so that you can only open your watch by your phone is so ANNOYING!!!! I hate it. I use my watch to find my phone and now I can't. It is so frustrating. How do I put it back?
You should still be able to enter your Apple Watch numeric pass-code to unlock the Apple Watch.
I have all the unlock features.
But I can always unlock my Apple Watch by entering my numeric pass-code
If you do not want to have to unlock your Apple Watch, then you need to disable using the Apple Watch to unlock anything else, and not use it for things like Apple Pay, or paying with a stored credit card.
