Can’t open shared notes files. Apple tells me to turn on iCloud for notes, but it is already turned on. How to fix this?

You came from a great resource for this issue. If you go to iCloud.com from a computer web browser, are you able to access the shared notes there? Test to verify. If that works, see if you can access them from your iPhone as expected.


Other steps that may help include restarting your iPhone:

Then make sure it’s up to date as well:
