Migration assistant on old mac freezes
When trying to use migration asssatant to move data from old MAc OS 10.13.6 to new 24 inch MAC. Migration assistant on Old Mac sends message: Unable to disconnect and freezes
Not sure if you are connecting the two Macs directly via cables and adaptors, or via WiFi ... but either of those can be problematic due to connection issues. Perhaps more trouble-free is to make a Time Machine (or "clone") backup of the old Mac on an external drive, then connect that drive to the new Mac and run Migration Assistant.
