grand cherokee 2015 model doesnt play my whatsapp audio messages

i just purchased a grand cherokee 2015 model, and the uconnect system doesnt play the whatsapp audio messages i receive when my iphone X is connected via bluetooth. i can play the music apps normally, and i can send audio messages, but i cant play whatsaspp audio or youtube. i have to disconnect my iphone from bluetooth everytime i receive an audio whatsapp to be able to listen to it
