I've checked out the Costco offerings and they tend to be entry-level and you cannot specify more RAM or faster storage.

Remember that RAM in 21.5- and 24-inch iMac is NOT upgradeable after purchase. It will be your "forever RAM."

Although fast, the entry-level 256GB SSD is simply not big enough even for many casual users. Can Costco sell you one with a bigger SSD?

Apple gives you free Apple Tv+ access for a year so that is not a plus.
