Adjust the volume of the camera’s shutter sound using the volume buttons on the side of your iPhone. Or, when Camera is open, swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen to open Control Center, then drag .

Mute the shutter sound using the Ring/Silent switch on the side of your iPhone.

The shutter doesn’t make a sound when Live Photos  is turned on.

Note: In some countries or regions, muting is disabled.

What is the model number? Japan requires that the camera sound is on permanently. Where did you purchase your phone?

Your seller sold you a phone designed for the Japanese market. You need to decide if you want to ask them how they got a phone designed for Japan.
