My phone freezes goes into black screen drops the call.

phone calls freeze screen after latest update for iphone x anytime I get a phone call coming in, if I don't answer it (and even sometimes when I do), the screen freezes. periodically I can get out of the frozen screen by trying to restart the phone but 9 times out of 10, I just have to let the battery die down and just wont have a phone for however many hours. The screen stays frozen on the incoming phone call screen.
