Missing 5120x1440 resolution for ultra wide monitor

I bought a Phillips 498p9 49" ultrawide monitor for my macbook pro 13" 2019.

Since I am using Big Sur 11.3, I would expect to be able to get the 5120x1440 resolution out of the box, but apparently I am not getting this resolution when connecting the monitor to the macbook. I am using a DP 1.4 to USB-C cable.

In the display preferences I can only scale the resolution, to around 3840x1080.

The interesting part is that I can use this resolution using SwitchResX, but I don't think that I should be using a paid application if the resolution is actually supported by my laptop and monitor. Help is appreciated.
