Fujifilm X100V RAW and Photos and Pixelmator The X100V still does not appear on Apple's list of supported RAW formats. I bought this camera when it was released seven months ago and the delay is surprising. I remember a previous thread on this subject from around four or five months ago which suggested that the blame for the delay lay with Fujifilm. It's hard to accept this explanation given that the X100V is supported by Adobe along with the X-S10 (which was only just announced on the 15th of this month). I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that Apple moves in a timely manner to support customers who rely on Mac RAW editing apps (eg Pixelmator on the Mac) and Photos (which also does not yet recognise the X100V). Looking at other reports on the web I'm starting to wonder if this is a Catalina problem. Either way, it would be good to know.

How can we get apple to add RAW support for ILCE-7RM4A Sony's A7rIV (ILCE-7RM4) RAW files is supported but the A7 rIVa (ILCE-7RM4A) is not. how can apple to add RAW support. this is a minor revision by Sony that only improved on the lcd screen on the back, and added a faster USB port, the files are essentially the same, except they are identified with the new model number, making it not nativity supported by apple. im sure someone could make a patch to change ILCE-7RM4 to ILCE-7RM4A to make the files open. this camera has been out nearly 12 months. how hard is it for apple to add support, nearly everyone else has added support, adobe, capture one, Luminar, etc....

It's not a clone nor does it claim to be. It's a raw processor that can work with Finder folders or a Photos Library. It has no database of its own.

As a raw processor it's well rated, but that's something that reflects personal taste. That's why the have a free trial, to see if it's to yours.
