So my iPhone is asking for me to verify my Mac password. The characters on my Mac pass are not on the iPhone keyboard. How do I go about it. The only option I have at present is changing the password on my Mac, I first saw this verification method after wiping all my devices

Are these things like Umlauts? E.g. "ä", "é" or "ç"? Long press on the keyboard on the "parent" character (like "a" for "ä", "e" for "é", or "c" for "ç") and select from the pop up menu. Also works for other special characters (you can find "€" by long pressing "$" etc.), but might be a bit harder to find.

On the iPhone keyboard tap 123, then #+=
"§" can be found under "&", with the "±" sign you're out of luck, as far as I can tell, you can only copy paste, e.g. from this post.

Ahh I thinks was my poor explanation I was asking about the keys ± or § characters and not + or -
It was both actually, but thank you. Unfortunately no copy and paste options on the password screen, I even tried anydesk but still no Luck.
