Quicktime player audio video sync problem

I am a corporate meeting producer. When checking through videos pre-show using Quicktime Player, they will run in sync perfectly to the end regardless of length - BUT - if you stop them for any reason during review and then restart them, the lose sync completely and the only way to get it back is to return to the start of the video. I restarted the MacBook Pro and tried to restart the video at the point where I left off and - still totally out of sync. Any chance for a QuickTime bug fix sometime soon?

It sounds like you're running into video syncing issues while watch videos using Quicktime.

Do you know if this occurs with any other video related app on your Mac?

Is this happening with different video file formats as well?

Can you test the issue using another user account on the Mac?
