I'm trying to have my custom text scale 'out'. I'm able to have it scale 'in' perfectly, but regardless of what I change in the 'out' portion, my text isn't effected it at all, and it just disappears off the screen at the end like a basic title would.
I think that the problem is that the duration of your title in the timeline is not long enough.
The title has special markers set in Motion (called "Build-In (optional)" and "Build-out (optional)").
I am thinking that you have a duration is perhaps shorter that the position of the build-out marker.
Try making your title a bit longer than 2 seconds. As a test, make it, say, 5 seconds, and see how that works.

Use the transform function open the text to keyframe scale down to zero.

That did work. Only dilemma is that the length of the title when it doesn't work is as long as the title can be without interfering with the edit. I tried adding keyframes when I want the title do disappear, but that didn't work either.
What title is this?
