Face ID not working

I just got a brand new iPhone 11. I’ve successfully set up everything except for Face ID. When I try, it tells me to move the camera higher or lower or that my face is out of view. A few times it has popped up with an error message that Face ID is currently unavailable. The phone is literally brand new i don’t see any reason why Face ID would not work?

I have already tried doing a manual reset of my phone, that did not work.
