How do I get rid of old card that Apple says has payment due which is incorrect

I cannot change cr card because apple says I owe payment. This incorrect. Cr card is closed because of fraud charge. Nothing is owed. It will not let me add a card.

Apple payment Hello I had to discard a card recently due to a fraudulent activity. This card was what had my loan for my iPhone and I know a payment is due. I was wondering if there is a way to switch payment methods? The routining and account number is the same to the new card so should it still be alright?

Can't update payment method The VISA card I have been using to pay Apple has expired. I added my renewed VISA card several weeks ago, but Apple are now insisting on trying to use the expired card to take this month's payment for iCloud storage, instead of charging the updated card. Apple won't let me remove the expired card because 'there is a payment outstanding'. I'm now caught in a loop in which I can't remove the expired card and can't get Apple to use the new one. They say they will cancel my storge plan if I 'don't pay'. Of course I'll pay - if they let me.
