AirPrint certification

We are a printer manufacturer ,We would like to add AirPrint support to our printers.

However, there are few information about the specification, licensing, or cerification about AirPrint on internet.

Any advice or hint about where should we start? Do We need to apply for MFI certification?

Thanks for any help.

Hi there EddieChou,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities.

We understand you're wanting to know more about partnering with Apple for your printers, so that you can include AirPrint compatibility.

AirPrint technology information is available to developers on our website here, and may require a developer subscription: AirPrint - Apple Developer

MFi certification may also be an option for further support for your certification and licensing questions here: MFi Program - Apple

We hope you have a great rest of your day!

Cheers!
