Sound recognition not working

The sound recognition for my phone keeps crashing anytime I open it. After I open the control center and goes to accessibility, sound recognition then it automatically goes to the home again.

how do I fix it please?

Message sound notification on I-phone XR I have read through the previous questions, all of the sound notifications are turned on, and I still only get sound notifications sporadically. The sounds always seem to go off when I am in holding the phone, or sometimes when replies are being sent to me, but not when I am a little farther away. I have missed many messages in a timely fashion because my phone doesn’t go off. The last trick I tried just a few minutes ago was to turn the lock sound off, but don’t know if that will help yet.

Issues with dictation since updating to iOS 16.1.1 I'm so annoyed right now. Can someone please help me understand why every time there is an update, dictation stops working?? It used to be that I would hit the microphone and start speaking and Siri would type it out. Now I hit the microphone and it kind of highlights the microphone in grey then it turns off without writing anything. How do I use dictation now?? I took a screen shot of what happens when I push the button now...

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like the sound recognition is not working on your iPhone and is closing when you try to open it. Try these steps: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open.
