How do hide the "A52Codec component" notification

Since Apple limited the use of videos by banning most formats, I am trying to convert the thousands of videos I have to a format that Apple will accept. I am using the Handbreak app, but every time I try to select a video Apple notifications pops up saying "A52Codec.component" cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified, then suggests I move the video to the trash. How can I stop these annoying notifications?

This component A52 does NOT work in Catalina or Big Sur no matter what you do. The way avoid this is to take it out of the folder. Put it somewhere else if you have any concerns that you may somehow need it. Restart. No more warnings! And HandBrake should still convert your video. If I am wrong, put the file back.

This suggests that you still have a VERY OLD A52.component, probably in

/Library/Quicktime

or perhaps

~/Library/Quicktime

Go to these folders (in Finder, just press command-shift-G, and paste each of the lines above) and drag the offending file to the trash (or some place else in case you want to keep the file for some reason).

Note: it is possible that one or the other of the above folders does not exist. In that case, the file will be in the other.

Then Restart your mac.

No more warnings!
