Hello shafiul66,
Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities. We understand you are looking for some information regarding the use of a microphone in a headset you are connecting to your iPad. We are happy to help provide some guidance.
To start, we want to try narrowing down the issue to see if there is something related to the headset itself. Do you have another device you could try connecting the headset with to test the microphone to see if it works? Or do you have another different headset to connect to your iPad? Are you using any sort of adapter to connect to your iPad?
What happens when you try recording using the Voice Memo app with that microphone? Is it completely silent, or does it default to using the iPad internal mic?
Keep us updated on how it goes.
Best Regards.
Hello Sir,
i tried every way you said.
my headphones mic is good and it’s work another devices.
and voice memo still using the internal microphone.
Thank You Sir for your reply. i hope more for your reply.
Thanks for keeping us updated. Are these headphones manufactured by Apple, or are they a third party headset? How are you connecting them to your iPad? Are you using any sort of adapter?
Do you have a pair of EarPods or other Apple certified earbuds and mic that you can try testing with your iPad?
We appreciate that additional information. We want to make sure that the headset is compatible for using with your iPad. Does the third party headset have any documentation or website that goes over compatibility with using it with an iPad? Most devices that are compatible will say they are made to use with iPhone or iPad in their documentation.
To help further isolate the issue, do you have a pair or Apple EarPods with a microphone built in that you can connect with your iPad to see if the microphone works there?
If you aren't sure if the third party headset is compatible, we would recommend reaching out to the manufacturer to inquire about compatibility.
Cheers.
