Hacking
My mother in law just received a multitude of phone calls from my wife and when answered some random people were on camera as my wife. Is FaceTime compromised?
we dont know which device it has been hacked.

When your mother-in-law received a FaceTime call from your wife and answered, did the FaceTime video pick up another person on the other end that she didn't expect? Make sure the contacts are listed correctly on the iPhone: Manage and delete contacts on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.
