How do I fix extremely slow WIFI on 6th Gen iPad?

I've been having trouble with unusable internet speed on my 6th gen iPad for a couple of months. I've tried resetting my modem, resetting my iPad, changing network settings and completely different networks. Nothing seems to work for any extended period of time.

The best result came from a factory reset of the iPad, I had decent speed for around a week. This confirms it's an iPad issue rather then a network problem, at least in my experience.

Average speeds I can expect on the iPad range between 0.7Mbps and 1.1Mbps during peak time.

Average WIFI speed I can expect on my PC ranges between 75Mbps and 90Mbps during peak time.

S10+ WIFI speed is in the 50-60Mbps range.

All speed tests were performed within 4ft of my router.

Is this a settings issue that I have overlooked or does it seem like my iPad is faulty?

If it helps, it's been on a desk for it's 2 year lifespan. Minimal movement and definitely hasn't experienced any rough handling. Storage has never been full and is currently empty after the factory reset.

iPad, iPadOS 14
