Did a backup and restore of my 128 GB iPad. now the Storage other is completely filling the iPad. The Backup was about 18GB. Can't seem to clear the storage. I couldn't eve save the screenshot. I had to take a picture of it.
Anybody have any ideas?

Safari listed zero KB for both Website Data and Offline Reading List. I tried rezeroing anyway
Messages is at 3 GB. Says I will save 38.9 MB from large attachments.
largest app other than photos less than 500 MB and all others are less than 300 MB.
I don’t see the option to enable offload apps.
the only recommendation showing is iCloud photos, showing 1%, but I cannot select it,

In theory, the "Other" storage category is managed by iPadOS itself. Beyond what that dated article offers, AFAIK, there's not much else you can do to reduce it. I also was not able to locate an updated version of the Apple Support article to cover the latest iPadOS version. Sorry. Maybe someone else here at the ASC may have a solution for you and will chime in. Good luck!

That is what I thought. I could almost watch it getting larger after the restore. Maybe it will “fix” itself over time.
