Hi Everyone, on my new M1 MacBook Air I noticed that "Developer Tools" is in System Preferences with a blank icon and I don’t know how to delete it. I was learning Xcode when I first got it but I since then uninstalled it. Is this possibly related and does anyone have a possible way to remove this? I'm on macOS Big Sur 11.4, Thank you!

Guess work here - the Xcode was removed by proper Apple Instructions ? That aside - the small Padlock lower left in screen shot - unlock with Computer Password and unTick Developer Tools and / or small munis (. - ) sign and choose remove. Once done. re-lock the padlock.

You can generally never remove those things. They aren't providing any purpose, but you cannot remove them.
The icon is likely missing because you removed the app on which it was based.
Not removable, and the default (unselected) entry is Terminal.
