Gmail Password Not Saving on KeyChain

Three times in the last two days I have had to reset my gmail password. I use Youtube on the iPhone its not there and I have to reset. I come back to the laptop and I have to reset it to use gmail. I use the apple suggested password, but I also delete cookies and browser history. Is there any thing I can do to fix google password not saving on keychain.
