Ive recently upgraded to Macbook Pro & Big Sur....the battery is drains FAST. Also when computer is plugged into power the lightning symbol doesnt appear at times. I use chrome and been told by Apple I need to swap to Safari..has anyone done this and did it fix the battery issue?

Thank you. All of the above has been done IN-STORE with no resolution. I purchased the macbook Pro M1 Chip and this issue was happening. Returned it for a 2nd computer, same thing. Apple Reps told me it was because I'm using Chrome & M1 are not working well together currently, so I replaced with a 3RD Macbook Pro Intel version, paid for the upgrade. Same THING!
I'm now told by Applie it is a BIG SUR issue that is causing this and advised to use Safari (not chrome). Which I choose not to due to the extensions that I require. People need to be aware if they are running a business off BIG SUR MacBook Pro with many Tabs in Chrome - the Macbook Pro is not the solution - IT DOES NOT WORK. Battery depletes within 6 hours. When shutting down, it mostly resets itself and then shows it's charging (with the power plugged in), until the next time the computer 'sleeps' and it happens all over again.
It's a bug in BIG SUR and I wish Apple would rectify asap! Please notify as soon as its fixed.
