Yes, it did improve dramatically but is still not on expected performance for that drive class:

File Systems is one-third of before and your Read speeds are close to optimum for an SATA 6 SSD; both are good news.
However your Write speed is still slower than some rotational drives. I had a similar issue with an aftermarket SSD in my Mid 2012 MBP where the write speed dropped. Enabling TRIM did not immediately have any effect.
I did a safe boot several time, finally letting the computer sit for a while after entering safe mode. That is supposed to give the system time to do cleanups and indexing that TRIm allows. Still no immediate gratification so I set the computer aside for a few days and worked on other things. Coming back to it, I found the write scores were fully restored and it has stayed on nominals since.
Nominals for a 6GB/sec SSD are read/write both at roughly 500MB/sec ± about 10 percent. So you have made progress.

You cannot add RAM so any app or process that is using near 20% of your limited RAM is a problem. If you cannot give up Chrome in favor of FireFox or Safari, at least quit it when it is not in use. Even left open in the background, it and its many minion "helpers" seem to circumvent Apples very smart memory management.
