i bought the latest model of AppleTV (2020) and tried it on a Samsung 4K and a Sony Bravia 4K TV and the best it will do is 1080p on both TVs. Both TVs have previous AppleTV models running 4K HDR perfectly. Tried updates and the Ultra HD cable sold by Apple Store.
No luck. I don’t want to send it back, would love to figure this out.
