The iOS 14.6 installation gets stuck, and remains stuck even after hard resetting my iPhone. It will show “4 minutes left,” “3 minutes left,” “2 minutes left” and then gets stuck like this:
And never gets “unstuck.” This is really problematic as the fact that my software is outdated has resulted in some of my other essential apps locking me out.
How can this be fixed so that the newest update can be installed on my phone?
You must have a stable Wi-Fi connection.
Or connect to a PC with the latest version of iTunes installed.
Charge the battery to 50% or higher.
Turn off Battery saving mode.
Don't use a Hotspot.
Don't use VPN.
And make sure you have enough free space.
