When I go to download a free app on the App Store I clicked “get” and it doesn’t install it just goes back to “get” I have already tried signing in and out of my Apple ID and shutting down my phone. I just got this phone and logged out of my Apple ID on my old phone would that affect anything?
I also did try signing back in to my Apple ID on my old phone and tried downloading an app and it worked. I’m not sure what the issue is on my new iPhone.
If you already tried (to no avail) ALL the steps provided in this support artcle:--> If you can’t download or update apps on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support, contact iTunes Store Support Team and explain your problem, using this link:--> iTunesStore & App Store – Get support for various issues, and choosing: your country, then Apple ID, then iTunes & App Store. If your problem is not among the options shown there, tap/click on the option “the topic is not listed” and describe your issue.

No, that would not affect the ability to download apps on the new phone. I have four iOS devices signed into my Apple ID and I can download apps on all of them.

Try a forced restart and the try downloading an app. Press and quickly release the volume up button, then press and quickly release the volume down button, then hold the side button until you see the Apple logo on the screen at which time you can let go of the button.
