MacBook Pro Lid that It Won’t Close All the Way

Why MacBook Pro Lid that It Won’t Close All the Way. I have had its situation for couple of years. If I want to fix it, how much it will spend? it is probably swollen the battery. Or can I buy new one it's a better idea?

Could you give me some advices and ideas?

The advice for a swollen battery is stop using it immediately, unplug from the power source.

Severe damage can happen to the logic board

Clean Debris:

Using an Air Duster, see if there is debris stuck in there some how. Get this at your local retailer. Important: If you don't feel confident in doing so, then have someone else do so, who has experience in using an Air Duster.
