Windows on mac

While installing windows on my Mac mini (mid 2011) system allows only 40 GB to be used for Windows installation. It won't allow me to partition my disk.

Pls help

Mac mini, macOS 10.13

Are you currently running macOS High Sierra on the Mini? Be aware that a 2011 Mini does not officially support W10.

macOS High Sierra does not support W7. If you need W7, you should consider macOS Sierra.

Yes I am running High Sierra on Mac but I just want to install Windows 7.

I don’t know whether I can install it or not.
