My order of new iMac

Good afternoon. On May 20, I ordered and paid for iMac 2021 in an individual configuration. The projected delivery date was set for June 30 - July 06. And it was okay for me, though a pretty long wait. Yesterday, without warning, the deadline changed to July 30 - August 06. Without warning or any explanation, the deadline has shifted by another month. I don't mind waiting and understanding the current situation in the world, but it would be great if I were at least somehow notified of such significant changes in agreements and tried to clarify the situation. iMac for several thousand dollars is not a toy, but a working tool, and I would like to understand the deadline for its receipt. I'm sorry for my bad English, but I'm writing here because phone sales support couldn't tell me anything specific. What are the reasons for such sudden and radical changes in the delivery time, and why is Apple not trying to reassure customers in any way, but silently changing dates in its personal account?

We are fellow users and Apple is not here. We cannot explain changes in order delivery times, nor does Apple have control over all aspects of the shipping cycle. There may or may not be issues that even involve COVID factors, such as intense order demand for a new product.


I suggest you contact Apple directly from your order confirmation email to determine if the shipping delay can be explained.
