I can't open any apps or power off my iphone X.
Screen is working but I can't open any apps.
When I try get power off screen it just sets off the alarm/warning ringtone and try's to connect to emergency.
I'm getting notifications but I can't click on them

Force restart your phone and see if that fixes things.
Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Then press and hold the Side button until you see the Apple logo.

Press and QUICKLY release volume up, then volume down, each as quickly as you can. The hold the Side button for 15 to 30 seconds until an Apple logo appears.
How long do I have to press the volume up and down buttons before quickly releasing?
When I press and hold the side button it just activates Siri
