iphone X keypad issue

The issue is this.



I dial a number. No issue with keypad it recognises every key stroke easily.



However when connected to number lets say I am given a series of choices. Dial one for bla, dial two for bla



I press the appropriate number, I can see on the screen the number has

been pressed but the system does not recognise I have done it. I have

tried long presses, repeated presses, every type of press I can think

of. Sometimes it works seems to be random though.



Cannot work out how to solve this.

In the meantime, does this happen with all numbers that you dial that require prompts, or just specific ones? Also, have you already tried any other troubleshooting steps? This can be something as simple as a restart, to any advanced steps from troubleshooting articles on our website or other resources. We like to ask so we don't have you repeat anything unnecessarily.

Hello there Ridgeman,



From what you've described, you're currently using a beta version of the iOS as the current full release version is iOS 14.6. With that in mind, we'd suggest reporting this issue using the Feedback Assistant assistant app as described here: Apple Beta Software Program


Otherwise, you can also try reverting to a non-beta version or waiting for the full release version of this one: How to uninstall iOS beta software However if issues persist even with the beta completely removed, you may need to contact Apple Support for additional help.
