M1 Mac Mini Wakes from Sleep or Boots Up Slowly
I have an M1 Mac Mini that typically takes about 50 seconds to boot after being turned off and left for a day. If I turn it off and go back to it on the same day, at takes about half that time to come up.I was advised to just put it to sleep. It takes 20 - 25 seconds to wake from sleep. Could it be the analog monitor I have connected through the Thunderbolt port using the Apple connector? This monitor works fine otherwise but if it's slowing the process down, I'll but a Full-HD digital monitor. I'm also very security conscious and also use Virusbarrier, which has a firewall. Can that be a contributor to the slow wake up? Thanks.
