WD discovery application won't uninstall

I used a WD drive from a client to back up some files and then gave the drive back. For some reason WD Discovery was installed into my applications folder. Every time I start up my Mac, I get an error message "WD Discovery quit unexpectedly". This is annoying so I tried to uninstall the application. It gives me the same message. So I try and trash the application itself. It goes away and then pops back up immediately.

How can I get rid of this application from my system?

Thanks!

First, please ensure the app is closed, then attempt to drag it to the Trash. If you still cannot uninstall the app I would recommend using an uninstaller app such as AppCleaner. If that fails then you should be in contact with the developers of WD Discovery.
