Due to corporate correspondence, new passcode for iphone, since then the watch also requests a new passcode, but does not accept the old one

Corporate mail is on my iphone, the security of which has now been tightened. Because of this, yesterday my iphone randomly requested a new passcode (and my colleagues have experienced this as well). Once we have entered the new passcode, the Apple watch also asks for a new passcode, but when I entering the previous passcode nothing happend and doesn’t accept the code, so I can’t unlock the watch, therefore I can’t pay with it. Also I still cannot change the passcode in the Watch application on iPhone because the phone says that: the apple watch is "busy".

Could anyone help me with this, what would be the solution, or should the watch be reset in the worst case?

Message in English: "Your iphone has a policy that requires a new Apple Watch passcode." Button: "Create New".

After pressing a button, it asks for the current passcode but it does not accept.

bianka259,

Try resetting your Apple Watch using these steps:

Erase Apple Watch - Apple Support

"If you can’t access the Settings app on your Apple Watch because you’ve forgotten your passcode, put your Apple Watch on its charger, then press and hold the side button until you see Power Off. Press and hold the Digital Crown, then tap Reset.

After the reset finishes and your Apple Watch restarts, you need to pair your Apple Watch with your iPhone again—open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, then follow the instructions shown on your iPhone and Apple Watch."

Hello bianka259,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

We understand from your post that you are unable to reset the passcode for your Apple Watch and are receiving an error stating, "Your iPhone has a policy that requires a new Apple Watch passcode." Is your passcode alphanumeric or a complex passcode? If so, this article has some information which may be helpful:

Set passcode restrictions for an Apple Watch - Apple Support

"Alphanumeric or complex passcodes

If you require an iPhone passcode that uses letters or special characters, you can't set an Apple Watch passcode. Instead, your users must unlock their iPhone to unlock their Apple Watch. Open the Apple Watch app on the paired iPhone, tap the My Watch tab, then tap Passcode > Unlock with iPhone."

Best Regards.

Hello Alwayswantingtohelp1!

Thank you, for your support!

My previous password for iPhone contained a special character (!), but on that day, when I had to change my passcode, the new password only contained alphanumeric characters. Because it was not work with the Watch, then I changed it again so that the passcode only consists of numbers, but this is still not accepted by the Watch either. The Watch will asked the current passcode again and again.

Unlock with iPhone is still allowed in the Apple Watch app right now. Only the passcode change function is available, but by clicking on it I get the attached message ("Apple Watch is busy"), so the unlock with iPhone function is inactive, I can't change it. I can't change the Apple Watch password, because of attached message.
