Can't interface my Roland fantom X6 to Logic Pro x

The onboard USB port serves two functions: First, it can be used as a USB-MIDI interface, eliminating the need for an external MIDI interface. Second, it can be used to import and export audio in .WAV/AIFF format. Now it's easy to bring in samples from your computer and use them in a sequence. Likewise, you can quickly mix down your song, re-sample it in stereo, and then transfer the file to a computer for CD-burning.

Looks like a Mac USBdriver is available but only up to Mac OS 10.8, you are sure the USB port on the x6 is configured correctly?

Did you try Audio/MIDI-configuration?

Do you have a manual for the Fantom? Check and see if the Fantom needs to have USB MIDI enabled.

There is no midi signal? Or do you mean audio?

But I think the USB can be configurated in Audio/Midi config. in Mac Sierra to receive Midi in Logic. Pancenter is a specialist maybe he can explain?

That’s the way I do it. I connect my midi in/out from Roland XP 80 to RME RayDat which has midi in/out ports.

Or is that a RME RayDat feature?

If all else fails you can purchase a USB MIDI interface and use the Fantom's In/Out MIDI ports.
