Are those files calling Microsoft or frameworks? If so, it doesn't matter

if it is Big Sur or any other macOS they would need to be re-written

with macOS graphics and macOS window hooks.

If they are for macOS, they can be calling libraries/frameworks that have been

long deprecated by Apple.

Also, any development framework or development tools have to be Mac

compatible and some here could answer but but I believe they have

to be Catalina or later compatible due to the fact that macOS is now

a completely 64 bit only system since Catalina.

Also, any graphical/UI framework needs to have hooks to utilize

the Apple ObjectiveC/Swift libraries.

You may want to also post the question in the developers forum.

You can use C++ in the mac in several ways, including via XCode, the terminal or many other options. You have the full standard library available. Most third party libraries will be open source and you can download and install them.

What libraries in particular aren't you able to use? You may have to download some. If you give specific examples of what you are trying to achieve, maybe I or someone else here can point you in the right direction.

As mentioned above, you can post these questions on the Developer forums: Developer Forums - Apple Community

Note that there are also developer forums on developer.apple.com, but I don’t recommend that site. It is a wasteland.

For the record, you are looking for the “ncurses” library. It is included with the operating system. But I wouldn’t recommend using it. If you are just learning how to code, stick to the basic terminal I/O commands. Don’t bother trying to get fancy in the Terminal. That’s a waste of your time. If you want to write games, use the games frameworks that are provided by Apple. Instead of YouTube videos, watch WWDC videos: https://developer.apple.com/videos/

That link above is a good starting point. It has videos arranged by function and technology, rather than year-by-year WWDC videos. If you are just starting out, it is often best to start with some of the older videos that will give a beginner’s overview of new frameworks fro the year when those frameworks were first introduced and everyone was a newbie.

thank you for answering, since i am frustrated to search on google so many methods some are not working for me and some are for old versions not for big sur, for example i was searching small projects for cpp. i have seen some small games using graphics.h and windows.h libraries and also i tried to install turbo c++ in mac os but this also failed for me🥲.
